HIS WITNESS MINISTRIES
http://www.mysticangelcreations.com Mystic Angel Creations was established in 2001 by me and for the purpose of teaching others to unlock their own creativity and artistic talents, as well as for creating beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces of quality, yet affordable, art-to-wear jewelry. Through Mystic Angel Creations, students' creativity is encouraged and explored so that their own individual personalities and expressions are reflected in their works. Fibers, wires, beads and stones are some of the mediums, which are utilized in the classes taught, as well as used in the pieces created by me. Sandy Hartman converts dominos into festive ornaments, pins or pendants. Her talent was featured in a special holiday episode of HGTV's "That's Clever" in November, 2006. Collages: More Than Just Magazine Cut Outs, published December 29, 2008. "I was at a young age when I was first introduced to the world of collages. In elementary school, I often took home collage assignments and participated in group collage projects. They were fun and delightful escapes from math and reading as I enjoyed experimenting with the pieces and lay-out. Even then I was intrigued by color and design." Dowload the article here.
Eight Ways to Creatively Promote Your Art - edited by ASC | Posted on Saturday, October 25, 2008. "Creativity applies to more than just art; it also applies to the business side of art - generating sales. The appeal of art alone is not sufficient to generate the kind of "buzz" that increases awareness, consideration and purchase. Art needs promotion – creative promotion". Artist's Statement:
Kristen Clark
I have been most known for inspirational expression through music and songwriting, and that expression is now flowing over into other means of artistic creativity, including mixed media art collages. It is through this creative expression that I continue to reflect on that which matters most to me - my faith and spiritual journey.
Having come into my relationship with Christ at the age of 35, my life has since been transformed. My need for expression is a direct result of the gratitude I hold in my heart for that transformation. I am not the person I was before I knew Christ, and for that I am eternally grateful.

Collages are defined as works of visual art made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. Collages are an appropriate expression for me as I often consider my life a work of God's art and an assemblage of different experiences that He has used to create a new whole in me.

My collages are all reflective of my faith, and usually begin with an inspired photograph as the theme and focal point. I am fascinated with stone carvings and the process required of a sculptor to change the stone from a rough block into the shape of a finished statue. My appreciation for this talent has resulted in my passion for photographing statuary, and it is often the photograph of a statue that inspires the creative process for my collages.
All of my pieces are inspired by the Word of God and prayer, and are designed to usher people into His presence with color and intrigue. I love working with new elements and I try to incorporate something unexpected, like a peacock feather or piece of sturdy burlap. I prefer the brilliance of antique-looking finishes, and lean towards the luminous colors exemplified in High Renaissance art. I also look to God's vision for my pieces and often marvel at the change of direction that sometimes takes place in the midst of the creative process. It is for His Glory that I create, and I therefore create as He would direct me.
